About Vire au vert
The environment belongs in the debate.
Vire au vert brings organizations and citizens together to put environmental issues at the heart of elections.
Our goal: encourage ambitious environmental commitments and help everyone make an informed choice.
24 organizations united in 2026.
A coalition of environmental and civil society organizations. A non-partisan initiative.
→ Our role
Inform. Equip. Mobilize.
Since 2018, Vire au vert has helped bring environmental issues into provincial, municipal and federal election campaigns in Quebec.
-
Make the issues accessible.
Share information, proposals and resources to help people understand the choices ahead. -
Encourage dialogue.
Support debates, public meetings and opportunities to ask candidates questions. -
Help people take part.
Give people tools to express their concerns and prepare to vote.
Your vote is your choice.
Vire au vert is a non-partisan initiative. The coalition does not support or oppose any political party or candidate. It never tells people who to vote for or against. It informs, mobilizes and equips people to make their own choices.
